Porch of the Maidens
Since my series is still on Greece, I can’t help but submit another piece for the weekly challenge on refraction. Evening was fast approaching and we were being hurried out of the Acropolis by ushers and guards. As we were heading out, the setting sun put on a beautiful display behind a cloud and the temple of Erechtheion was eclipsed in its aura. The famous “Porch of the Maidens” consisting of five draped female figures (originally six) as supporting columns could only look on in silent wonder.
