Joey says hello
Thank you to everyone for your comments on this blog as well as Facebook after my last post on Joey. It is encouraging to know that I am not the only one that struggles with not having a green thumb. Nevertheless, I may have just turned the corner because just look at Joey now!
From tiny little leaves just a couple of weeks ago, she has really hit her stride in spring. Not only with new leaves but with new shoots even! So, I thought it would be remiss of me not to provide an update post. Besides, it gives me an excuse to show Joey off. I know, I know, it’s a lemon tree. . . (but don’t tell Joey that!)
Wonderful! Way to go Joey! You know, Joey might be happy to be your listening post. Maybe you’ve already talked to her, and that’s why she is responding to your tender, loving care. That’s not to say I totally recommend speaking to plants. I talk to mine, and they die as quickly as if I hadn’t.
Haha. Talking to plants. I have not thought about that!
