Fleeting Sculptures

I admire artists who create ice sculptures.

Hours and hours of painstaking work that you put your heart into – knowing all the while that it is only fleeting. When the time comes, it all melts away into puddles of water. So, for this weeks challenge, this is a tribute to them. Gone but not forgotten.

      1. It maybe a similar feeling to those who make edible masterpieces…wedding cakes, birthday cakes etc…. which end up eaten…..or those who make sandcastles on the beach and the tide comes and destroys them…
