Fleeting Sculptures
I admire artists who create ice sculptures.
Hours and hours of painstaking work that you put your heart into – knowing all the while that it is only fleeting. When the time comes, it all melts away into puddles of water. So, for this weeks challenge, this is a tribute to them. Gone but not forgotten.
beautiful sculptures, love the lion, luckily your camera captured them for a time when all that remains will be puddles….
Can’t imagine sometimes how the artist feels when the exhibition ends and its time to “finish” up with them.
It maybe a similar feeling to those who make edible masterpieces…wedding cakes, birthday cakes etc…. which end up eaten…..or those who make sandcastles on the beach and the tide comes and destroys them…
So true … *sigh
