Bulowstrasse Part 2

Before leaving Bulowstrasse, I wanted to make one more post on it as there is so much street art here other than what’s just at Urban Nation. Just walking along the street, It is like a feast for the eyes. Here is one more sample of Art on Bulowstrasse. With artists from all over the world (see captions below) contributing to the street here, it is has a global flavor unlike anywhere else we have been.

Artist Nafir (not his real name). He is from Iran and uses Nafir, which means “scream” in Iranian.

Another piece by Nafir

Artist Elle. She is from NY and does a lot of female characters in fur and costumes reflecting our human ability to change.
image
Stencil Artists Icy and Sot, both originally from Tabriz, Iran but now reside in Brooklyn, NY. They use their art to envision a world freed from borders, war and gun violence.
image
Artis Fin DAC from London who is famous for his portraits. He has commercial works for Armani, G-Star, Red Bull and Jaegermeister.
image
Artist Cranio from Sao Paolo Brazil. His blue men are a tribute to the indigenous people from Brazil meant to provoke the observer to think of issues like consumerism, corrupt politicians and environment.
image
Artist David Walker, London based artist whose work is done without stencils or brushes. His portraits are mostly female characters and are often blended through as colours drip or mixed. Here he does it on a shutter door!
image
Artist Vexta who is from my neck of the woods, Melbourne! She was one of the few who participated in Banksy’s “Cans Festival”, an all stencil underground event.
image
Artist TankPetrol, a polish street artist. Now based in Manchester. As for his nickname, he used to drive tanks for the Polish Army!

Artist ALO from Italy. He is now in London and had his first exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in 2014
