How to stop time
I like the theme of this weeks photo challenge. I like Lignum Draco’s photo on time. And I like what Matt Haig wrote on time.
Not that long ago I was in France and whilst walking through the Louvre one early morning, I caught this photo of a lady sitting in the corner reading.
I love to read myself. When I read, I can get completely lost in the story. The world melts away. And in those moment, time stops when I read.
Nice shot. Time really does stop. You can sense it in the photo.
Thanks for the compliment!! And thanks for dropping by 🙂
I’m so glad to see your post here. I’ve missed you.
Hi Anne, hope you are well! Yes I’ve been away and then busy but I am back!
That’s great. Glad you were away and not ill.
Lovely shot. When reading the world around us stops and we become one with the story, possibly becoming one with a character in the story. Sad when it ends because we want to know what happened in that other world we visited for a short time. In your photo the reading woman appears to blend with the architecture.
